Continuing our look at the hot contenders in this year’s Emmy Awards race, we sit down with Chris MacLean to discuss his approach to the Apple TV+ epic Foundation series.
Based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov, Foundation chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire.
The series stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann,and Lou Llobell. For the first two seasons (and now filming season 3), the series VFX supervisor and second unit director is Chris MacLean. We spoke to him from on-set in Prague for this review of Season 2.
